MassCyberÂ鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· Cybersecurity Mentorship Program
The MassCyberÂ鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ· established the Cybersecurity Mentorship Program to provide diverse Massachusetts undergraduate students with meaningful exposure to careers in cybersecurity while helping them build professional networks through direct engagement with industry leaders. The program’s goal is to encourage students to pursue cybersecurity careers and strengthen the diversity and inclusivity of the cybersecurity workforce across Massachusetts.
Program Overview
The Program consists of three core components:
1. Direct Mentorship
Students are paired with cybersecurity industry professionals for one-on-one mentorship. Through ongoing dialogue—via phone, video, and in-person meetings—students gain insight into various cybersecurity career paths and learn how to translate their academic experiences into professional opportunities.
2. Student Project
Mentor–mentee pairs collaborate on a predefined cybersecurity project developed and scoped by the MassCyberÂ鶹³ÉÈ˾«Æ·. Projects include both technical and non-technical options. Students present their work at a showcase event in June 2026.
3. Professional Engagement & Events
Participants attend virtual cybersecurity career panels and have the opportunity to participate in the 2026 Massachusetts Cybersecurity Forum—an invitation-only event convened by the Commonwealth to advance partnerships and promote Massachusetts’ leadership in cybersecurity.
