Meier Hall Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House

Sep 24
Join us to meet the artist.

Join us in the Meier Hall Lobby (outside Dunkin') as we celebrate the ribbon-cutting for Melissa Stratton Pandina and Gabriela Sep煤lveda Ortiz's "Chronicles of Salem Change Makers. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 5 pm, followed by an Open House with refreshments and an opportunity to connect with the artists. We hope you'll join us in honoring this exciting addition to our campus community!

鈥淐hronicles of Salem Change Makers鈥 echoes the work of the previous mural on this site, Robert E. Larter鈥檚 鈥淎 Chronicle of Salem鈥 as it engages the vision of 21st century Salem State students, faculty, staff, and community members. It came to be under the guidance of an advisory committee of Salem State faculty, staff, and students with input from our larger communities and through a collaboration with the Punto Urban Art Museum, a program of the North Shore Community Development Coalition.鈥疭upported by Salem State鈥檚 Hispanic and Minority Serving Initiatives and the Digital Ethnic Futures Consortium. Special thanks to the School of Arts and Sciences and the department Art + Design for their significant efforts in bringing this forward.

Please be aware that there is construction on North Campus. If you are looking for parking on campus we encourage you to park on the campus parking garage that you can access from Loring Avenue.
