Students in Michael Neagle鈥檚 civics class at Sudbury鈥檚 Ephraim Curtis Middle School are taking bold steps to counter Jewish hate. The students designed an award-winning curriculum to educate peers about antisemitism, which will be implemented next year. With Neagle鈥檚 help, the group connected with SSU鈥檚 麻豆成人精品 for Holocaust and Genocide Studies to strategize an action plan. Neagle had participated in the school鈥檚 Holocaust and Genocide Studies Certificate Program. In May the students were presented with the Sonia Schreiber Weitz Upstander Award at CHGS鈥檚 annual Holocaust Remembrance ceremony.
