Recent graduate Makalah Moore (English major/French minor) was selected for a teaching fellowship in France through the TAPIF (Teaching Assistantship Program in France) program sponsored by the French government. Makalah will work as a teaching assistant in an English classroom at the Academie d'Amiens school, in a region just north of Paris. The TAPIF program is a competitive program open to English-speaking American and Canadian students. Makalah is the fourth SSU student to be awarded this fellowship.
