Salem State School of Social Work ΒιΆΉ³ΙΘΛΎ«Ζ· Elspeth Slayter was recently interviewed by βThe Provincetown Independentβ newspaper about the challenges of disability accessibility on the Outer Cape. She addressed the problems disabled people have with the spotty implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Slayter will be working with the Provincetown Disability Committee to do a townwide census of accessibility in business establishments. ΒιΆΉ³ΙΘΛΎ«Ζ· Slayter guides students through a similar activity in her disability social work elective offered each summer.
